40 Days Sign-up Update

Thanks to our Host Home leaders, we jumped today from 80 households (couples or singles) up to 118 households signed up. We now have a total of 173 participants and 56 leaders signed up for a total of 229 people. We’re aiming for 100% participation. Host Home leaders should plan to pick up signup sheets in the front office again next Sunday and continue to invite people to join your group.

Also, Host Home leaders may start picking up books to distribute to your people next Sunday. They will be available in the front office before and after the service. We will begin with one book per household unless they ask for more. Plan to come a few minutes early before the service to avoid the rush. The office will be open after the service as well.

Pool Party Pictures

The church family gathered at Echo Farms pool Sunday afternoon for a cookout/covered dish luau. The deacons grilled chicken while the members brought side dishes to share. Emily Hammonds provided listening and dance music as our DJ for the day. The diving board attracted lots of attention from the teens and more athletic adults. Thanks to Sam Ivey, Youth Director, for coordinating the event and to the deacons for transporting and setting up tables.
